The Spacecare Coracle Team managed a respectable 3rd place (out of 7 teams) in their hard fought competition in the MacMillan Coracle Relay World Championships held in Shrewsbury. Unfortunately this placing failed to get them through to the next round of the competition but spirits were high given this was our first attempt entry and the team were largely "Coracle Virgins". Next year here we come! Pictured, the team after the race. |

As an ISO14001 organisation pollution control is taken very seriously. All our vehicles carry spill kits and our crews are trained at dealing with accidental spills of pesticides and petro chemicals. Pictured is a crew following refresher training on the emergency action to be taken following an accidental spill. |

On Saturday 9th May "volunteers" from Spacecare gathered somewhere in Staffordshire for a mornings paint ball combat. With around 300 rounds each, ample bruising was meted out to all - still leaving enthusiasm for another go at some point in the future. Pictured - the team - post combat. |
