ISO 18001 - Nailed! (02-12-2011)

After much hard work by the Managment Team and Staff, Spacecare Ltd today achieved ISO18001 - the globally recognised Health & Safety Gold Standard. This now completes our 'suite' of accreditations having achieved ISO9001 (Quality) in 2004 and ISO14001 (Environment) in 2008.

The auditors left impressed having carried out two site inspections and a full document review at our Head Office. Among the subject areas checked were Staff Training Records,  Risk Assessment Procedures, Equipment Maintenance Records, Incident Investigation Procedures, how we consult with our staff and how we monitor trends to constantly improve our performance.

After achieving the award, Bitz Singh who is responsible for all operations within the Company said "Health & Safety is central to Operations, it is not an add on, it forms part of our considerations from task inception to completion - I am delighted we have had our work recognised".
